Different from Other iPAQs, but Still a Winner
Strengths: Smaller size (about the size of an iPod), easy to hold in the hand or put in a pocket. Jog dial, good processor and memory. Decent-sized stylus (i.e., not just a toothpick like the Dell Axim).
Weakness: No direction pad, which can make it hard to play certain games. Screen is slightly smaller than other WM devices (but not really noticeable). No SDHC support (for now). Flimsy screen cover.
This device answers one of my long-standing gripes about PDAs - namely, that most of them are large and bulky devices that won't fit comfortably in a jeans pocket. By making this device smaller (if a bit thicker) than previous iPAQ devices and removing all the buttons on the front, HP has given us a device which is better suited for casual use.
